Adopt a Rottweiler / Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat)

Meet Roxanne, or Roxy as we like to call her. She is the ultimate "plug-in" dog for the right family. She is approx 6yrs old, housebroken, spayed and up to date on all her shots. Roxy would like a family to call her own and has been bounced around a little since her rescue in WV over 2 years ago. We recently thought she'd found her forever home but it turns out that was not to be. See, Roxanne takes great pride in her family and will love them to pieces for sure. The last household she was in though, had a lot of "traffic" and outside visitors and that made her somewhat uncomfortable.  She DID bite someone who came into the home that she did not know so she would be a great security system for sure.  So, if you have a home that doesn't get a whole lot of visitors - Roxanne's your girl! We rely on the expertise of our veterinarians and make estimates based on past experience. Also, when you're adopting from a Rescue, you should ask questions! You should always get shot/medication records and the rescue should have had the dog for a bit of time to check for disease. Take the time to educate yourself before adopting.
